Welcome to my weird writings home. Here I will post the various chapters of my current novel, along with whatever might strike me. I'm mostly a horror/suspense kind of guy, but I sometimes venture into other genres as well. But one thing I won't write is paranormal romance; we got enough of that shit going on already.
The current project is a novel which I am tentatively calling New Beginnings. I'll probably think of a more flashy title later. I'll be posting chapters off and on until it's done, whenever that might be. Just keep on coming back every few days. Chapter eight is up, and chapter nine will be coming soon. I don't know how long it'll be yet. I don't write from an outline and so I only have a vague idea of where the story's heading. So, without further ado, click here to start reading. If you're into short stories, I've got a couple here as well.
The Tape is one of the first short stories I ever wrote. It's pretty spooky in an in your face kind of way, but not at all that polished. I still like it, though.
Also, I have The Bear, which is a story about a housewife who may or may not have mental problems. Nice twist ending, which I like. and Footsteps, a story about a man who's car breaks down in the wilds of Washington State, and, as he's walking to town to get help, starts hearing footsteps behind him on the empty road. Another twist ending.
Just in, a new short story, which is almost an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents, although the ending is probably a bit more obvious. It's called The Trip, and it involves a husband who takes a trip to Yellowstone National Park with his wife to try and rediscover the magic that got them married in the first place, but of course, in a Robert W. Hudson story, things don't go as planned.
New story: an adaptation of an old radio show I heard when I was a kid, which scared the hell out of me. I tried to do it justice here, but I don't think it works all that well outside the medium of radio but here it is anyway.
